When I was in China last week, I met a cotton guy in Zimbabwe who complained also about the infestation of mealy bug, a pest that was not known in the country before. It seems then that several countries in Eastern and Austral African are being affected. It would be good to know if it is actually the case. Testimonies from members of this part of Africa are welcome.
Could entomologists give their point about the possible relationship with climate change, or warming more specifically.
